  Notes
Meeting #: 1500

Welcome.

Our SMART Recovery meetings provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where participants can share experiences, learn practical tools, and support one another in managing behaviours and building more balanced lives.

To help create a welcoming, respectful, and connected environment for everyone, we kindly ask all participants to follow these guidelines:

Keep Your Camera On

We ask all participants to keep their cameras on throughout the meeting. Seeing one another helps build trust, encourage meaningful participation, and create a safe and supportive group environment.

Join a Few Minutes Early

Please join the meeting 5–10 minutes before the scheduled start time. This allows everyone to settle in, connect, and review group expectations before the session begins. To minimise disruptions and maintain a safe space, late entry may not be permitted once the meeting has started.

Meeting Participation Agreement

By registering for and attending this meeting, you agree to:

Respect confidentiality: Keep all personal information and experiences shared during the meeting strictly confidential.

Protect everyone's privacy: Do not record, transcribe, or publicly project the meeting in any way.

Participate in good faith: Attend with a genuine intention to engage in recovery-focused support and contribute to a respectful, non-judgmental environment.

Follow the Meeting Guidelines: Provide verbal consent at the beginning of each meeting to uphold the SMART Recovery Meeting Guidelines.

Please note: Participants who do not comply with these guidelines may be removed from the meeting to protect the safety and wellbeing of the group.

We look forward to welcoming you and sharing a positive, supportive experience together!
