SMART Recovery’s Standard Program is the organisation’s flagship secular program serving those with an addictive behavior, including both substance and activity/process addictions. Trained volunteer facilitators lead effective mutual support group discussions on these topics:

  1. Building and maintaining motivation
  2. Coping with urges and cravings
  3. Managing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
  4. Living a balanced life
Related tools consistent with evidence-based motivational and cognitive behavioral theories are also offered and discussed.

SWOP NSW is Australia’s largest and longest established community-based peer education sex worker organisation with a mission to provide New South Wales sex workers with the same access to health, safety, human rights, and workplace protections as all other Australian workers.

This SMART meeting is for sex workers only, run by trained facilitators who are sex work peers.

This meeting is run hybrid, both face to face and via zoom.

SWOP NSW conducts their own verification processes to ensure that these meetings are sex worker only. This includes anyone in the sex industry, private workers, parlour or massage workers, strippers, those who exchange sex for favours. It is 18+.
